Emperor Pi Lo Chun

This is a beautiful high end rare tea ranked first among Chinese tea and it is well known due to its delicate appearance and pleasant fruity taste. Known as one of the most famous teas grown near Lake Tai, Jiangsu, China. Pi Lo Chun's aroma is attained from evaporating water from the Lake Tai create clouds and mist over the tea. Fruity trees such as plums, apricots and plums are planted between the tea bushes so the leaves can absorb some of the fragrance.

Perfumy and sweet floral, with a full body and slight earthiness. Lingering, aromatic finish and interestingly floral-smoky.

Pi Lo Chun is hand picked only once a year in mid March - mid April.
This precious tea takes between 60-80 thousand leaf-buds to produce only one pounds of the finest Pi Lo Chun.

Directions for steeping tea:
★ Place 1 teaspoon of tea in the tea filter
★ Heat fresh (preferably filtered) water to 185°F (85°C)
★ Brew 3-5 minutes for full flavor, or to desired taste
★ 1 teaspoon makes an 8 ounce cup of tea
★ The second steep is sweeter with little hint of smokey flavor
